ParentHacks: Daily parenting advice, practical parenting tips, and life-simplifying ideas that work.

Parent Hacks is now added to my bag of parenting tricks as well as my sites to love list.

It may help me solve the question that I find myself pondering day in and day out... How the HELL does she do it? In this case - she (or he) refers to any mother who appears to be calm, cool and collected, in shape, well dressed, happy, and has an organized, clean home, and happy, healthy vibrant kids, a fabulous marriage and a social-life to boot.

I find that I'm constantly struggling just to get the top layer of dirt scraped off. I'm lucky if I get my hair brushed and manage to leave the house withOUT dried oatmeal all-over my pant legs. With that in mind, any site that gives me a clue, some insight into how 'she' or 'he' does it -- well, bring on the parenting advice, tips, and tricks. This just might be the answer I've been looking for.

Here's an excerpt from Parent Hacks that tells what it's all about:

Parent Hacks is a collaborative website that collects and publishes parents’
tips, recommendations, workarounds, and bits of wisdom – their hacks – in a
single pot so we can all partake. Here’s the stuff that would have been left out
of the instruction manual...if there were one. We're not experts in the
pediatrician-, psychologist-, or teacher- sense. We’re just out there, raising
our kids, finding the little tweaks that make this crazy adventure go a little
more smoothly.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. I added the ParentHacks widget to my blog. Scroll down and on the left sidebar you'll see new posts added to ParentHacks! Yeah, that means I don't even have to have a burning question to find new parenting tips. I don't even have to leave my blog to see what's new over there. But if one of the hacks catches my eye - I'll be there in a heart beat.
