I don't know about you, but my kitchen table is a constant disaster zone. I can't coun't the number of times a day I wipe that thing down. Especially considering how often it seems I'm feeding Isa (3 1/2) and Eli (1 1/2). -- another topic altogether :)
Today, it finally dawned on me. (some of you have probably already figured this out...sometimes it takes me a while..) Laminated placemats! Now I've seen the standard bunnies and chicks and cowboy and cowgirl placemats, none of which really grabbed my attention... But today I found what I was looking for. Beautiful placemats that make me happy to look at while reducing *some* of the mess. I guess the only challenge will be keeping them on the table. Oh well, even if they don't work that well, they'll be nice to look at :)
